Costume Standards (2)

We want Eventyr to be as inclusive & diverse as possible, whilst still being immersive high fantasy. This means that while we want people to wear costumes that evoke the spirit of the magical world in which we are living for the weekend, we also want people not to be physically or financially crippled by the costume standards. Please see costume standards guidelines for more information.

When it comes to physically representing cloth armour, there does need to be a distinction between normal clothes and the cloth armour. The core rules document give a few examples of lightweight armour from history.
A gambeson would not necessarily need to be worn as the top layer of costume, but you will be needed to point it out if a referee suspects “shenanigans” when a mage is taking a physical beating.
